A problem I encountered and how you solved or managed it

Today was the table tennis competition at Loyang Secondary School.

I was playing second doubles in the C division team. Since the teacher-in-charge, Ms Wen wanted to give those in reserve a chance to play, she paired up a secondary 1 boy with me. I was shocked at this decision cause i never played doubles with him before. Ms Wen asked me if I was okay with this plan, I was quite unsure about this cause I do not really know his style of playing table tennis. Thus, I went to stroke with him a few balls and found that he could not even hit a continuous number of 10 balls. I told Ms Wen about my worries if I paired up with him. In the end, I requested that i doubled with Tuck Yern. She agreed as she did not want to take any chances of losing the competition. I sighed in relief that I did not have to doubles with someone who did not know each others' style of playing table tennis. This problem was then solved and we won Manjusri Secondary School 5-0. We were happy with the results and went home with a happy smile, hoping to clinch a gold medal for Victoria School.

Something unusual that happened that day

Today was such a memorable day that I would never forget in my entire life.
My parents decided that on Sunday would be our family outing day and we go out for dinner and shop for new year goodies. We took a taxi to Orchard road to buy my new table tennis court-shoes and a new water bottle for my sister. Just then, a young woman, around 23 to 27 years of age, came to this shop selling bikini and woman's necessaries. She scouted around her something that she wanted to buy, and after 15 minutes of searching high and low, she finally found what she wanted- a brand new bikini set. Just as she was about to bring the set to the cashier, another woman snatched the bikini set from the young woman and shouted:'' hey! i saw this first, so this is mine!''. The other woman retaliated by saying:'' First come first serve!''.

This ended up in a cat fight and both woman were snatching the bikini furiously, my mother tried to go forward to intervene but ended up having a cut on her arm caused by the woman's long and sharp finger nails. Suddenly, a loud ripping sound could be heard, ''Tzzzzp'', the bikini was torn into two parts. The shop owner looked at both the woman furiously and demanded that they both pay for the price of the bikini set, which cost approximately 80 dollars.

Both woman were ashamed of themselves for causing such a loud commotion, they hung their heads in shame ,passed the money to the shop owner and scurried off hurriedly. We were utterly ashamed of the two Singaporeans. They're behavior has badly reflected on Singapore and i feel that Singaporeans can do a better job by giving way and forgiving others

A moment spent alone doing something you enjoyed

Lonely? The first that come across my mind is playing Blackshot.

One of the best FPS games in the '' FPS online games ranking list. I immediately rush to the desktop which is used by all my family members. I switched on the computer and typed in the password for my user account. I waited for a few minutes to let the computer start up. In the meanwhile, I contacted my classmate,JunWei to play with me one versus one. He logged in immediately and tried to find my game room. I gave my channel number and game room number. We played 60 points at a small map called '' panic space''. We both used mp5 to fight each other, and guessed what? I was thrashing him badly. We chatted through our game room while playing. Blackshot is a online game that allows players from all over the world to communicate and pit each other's skills against them. My mother allow me to play this game every weekends for 1 hour to let me relax. She also supports me playing Blackshot by giving me money every 2 weeks to buy game cards to buy good game guns. This really surprised me as parents would never ever support children in playing shooting games. however, my mum controls my playing time to 1 hour every weekend. You may think that this is totally impossible but it is really happening. There was once i played blackshot when my mum was watching the television, I got killed my a recruit when i was reloading my gun, my mum suddenly came up to me and said,'' Always reload your gun in a safe spot''. I was momentarily shocked by her comment, a parent giving advice to her son in terms of games? This totally impossible!

(Something that took place in school) Victoria School Table Tennis Competition

Today was the inter-school table tennis competition.

12 C-Division school team boys including me and 12 B-Division school team boys went to loyang secondary school for the competition. Since we were there quite early, the teacher-in-charge allowed us to practise for a while to warm up. We stroked and tried to improve on our weaknesses. At the same time, our caoch was also giving us some advice on how to win the match. My weakness was my forehand, the coach advised me to use my backhand more often to make up for my weak forehand. We played against Ngee Ann Secondary School. our china school team players easily defeated the first player, 11-4, 11-3, 11-2. Our next match was doubles. Alexander and Damian fought against two ngee ann players. It was also an easy match as our school coach obviously trained us harder. The B-Division boys were doing great too as they won every match. However, we got anxious as Tuck yern and Ming Jing, a secondary one student played. Since it was their first time playing, they were not very familiar with their hand signs. In the end, the ngee ann players won the first set. The school coach gave them advice on winning during the match. tuck yern and ming Jing paid close attention to the commands and soon easily defeated the ngee ann players.
Our last player was Raymus, he is one of the top ten in the nationals. Raymus thrashed the ngee ann players, 11-2,11-2,11-2. The whole competition was soon over when all matches were played. The final result was that Victoria won all the matches. we were over the moon but our coach warned us against being too delightful. Defeated rivals could soon get back on their feet and win us in the next match.
Thus, we decided that we would train harder and win gold for the school!

[A special moment I enjoyed with my family] Day at the Universal Studio(Singapore)

Have you ever expected a roller-coaster to be so thrilling that you feel that taking the same ride over and over again?

Well, i have experienced that kind of feeling when my family and I went to the Universal Studios. When i stepped into the Universal Studio, i could feel as if i was transported into a world of entertainment.
Music blasting all over the place. Performances were being held on the main roads. One of the performances that i enjoyed the most was the Water World. It displayed the stunt man's daring performance and the professionalism of their acting. Next up, we went to the Revenge of the Mummies roller-coaster ride.

It was so scary that when we going down the slope, i shouted so loud that my shout echoed through the dark tunnel. That ride was filled with unexpectancy, you would never know if you would be going down forward or fall backward. Next we went to have a quick lunch at the Mac Donald's, my father advised as not to eat so much as we were going to take some high-speed roller-coaster, and we will vomit if we ate too much. We walked around the Universal Studio, stopping at souvenir shops to shop for nicely made key-chains and keep them as souvenir. My sister and I bought two key-chains and T-shirts each. We then continued taking some of the rides like the Jurassic Park and the Boom Whacker. We got thoroughly drenched after we toke the Log Summer Ride.
As the day passes, we decided that it was time to go home as it was getting late. My sister and I were reluctant but we both too felt that it was getting late and tired.
Thus we decided to hail a taxi to head home
Today was such a memorable day and i really wish to complete the rides as main rides like Galatica Battlestar is not open yet.
